# Connect Power BI to Zuar Runner
Use the odbc connector as follows:
Go to [Postgres odbc site](https://www.postgresql.org/ftp/odbc/versions.old/msi/)

1. Download the correct and most recent driver for your computer. For me this was psqlodbc_13_02_0000-x64.zip
2. Unzip file > Run the .MSI file > Take all defaults given and install it
3. Create the ODBC data source on your computer and test your connection to the database by using the Windows
start menu search bar > search for "ODBC Data Sources (64-bit)"
4. Under User DSN tab > Add > PostgreSQL UNICODE(x64) > input all the connection information for the stego mitto
database and under SSL select allow> Click Test to test the connection > Finish
5. Open PowerBI > Get data > Moreā¦ > ODBC
6. From the Data source name (DSN) dropdown > Select the PostgreSQL35W (or whatever name your machine uses) > OK
7. Input Credentials >DONE.

Server Configuration:
To connect to PowerBI to Runner's Postgresql instance, an SSL cert must be added to
the postgresql.conf. Please submit a ticket to have this done.
